Exposition of handicrafts

An exposition „Warmth and splendor of textile blanket in the stories of Bebrene people" was opened in the recently restored barn of the Information center of Dviete floodplain nature park – „Gulbji" farm of Bebrene parish last spring. The exposition will be available all summer, and new exhibits will be added. Visitors can see textile blankets and needlework from chests and wardrobes of the people of Bebrene parish, inherited and received as a dowry, in the barn of „Gulbji" farm. Every handicraft has a story about its author, current owner, design and colors, characteristic of the region. Exposition is formed by Jurgita Gruberte.
